Work is progressing at the Stowe Manor! This week we’ve begun work on the sunroom floor. The original floor was set on a lime-based concrete slab that had experienced significant deterioration due to water and settling. We’re removing the compromised slab to replace it with a more stable foundation. Stay tuned to see how things progress! Starting work on a new project today! We’re super excited for the opportunity to help preserve such a landmark house 😍 These balustrades have experienced some deterioration and wood rot, and will be coming back to the shop for some fixing. Finally wrapped up restoring all 20 windows on the first floor of this bungalow. Time to tackle the second floor 😎 Got some time to work on a personal project today due to snow. First time trying to make some laminate countertops. Who says retro isn’t in style? 😎🔥 Sometimes there is art under all that paneling and wallpaper… My view this morning. Sitting on the back of an 1870’s Victorian. After many layers of paint and wallpaper, we are down to the base paint layer in this 1870’s home with plaster walls. Love the pattern ghosting left by the original wallpaper which we will use to select a new paper design for these rooms. Loving the sunset through these beautiful windows 😍 How can you not love wavy glass? 😍🤤
